Melas v0.10.0
Posted on May 21st, 2008
Melas is an uncomplicated build and packaging tool used to compile software and create installable package files. Melas can be used to reliably reproduce builds and perform dependency tracking. Cross-compilation is supported through integration with Sbox2.
Melas v0.10.0 is a feature and bugfix release over the previous v0.9.0 release. Changes and additions in this release include:
- Fixed a minor bug affecting –config command line parameter pathname resolving when used in connection with –rundir parameter
- Dependency strings generated by mls-build are now compatible with Debian and Ubuntu
- Added ability to skip compilation of mls files based on rules in mls files (eg. not build some packages for certain architectures)
- Integrated fakeroot for install/installer targets (for special files and to preserve file permissions and parametrers)
- Default configure, build and install targets now check if appropriate files are present (configure, Makefile) and do not fail the build if not
Packages are available for download at the Melas project site.
